Senior Management Committee

The Senior Management Committee

 

The SMC is composed of Grade 3 and upper level staff members and they are representative of a broad cross section of Shalom staff. The Director is the Chair of the SMC. Two-day SMC Meetings are usually held quarterly and in those meetings all program activities, achievements and challenges, matters related to the administrative, financial and human resources (HR) of the organization are discussed. Purposes of SMC Meetings include that issues and organization-related matters are discussed and properly addressed, and guidelines are set to help achieve project goals. The meetings are always highly participatory to make them more effective. Only those important organizational policy-related issues and matters are submitted to the Advisory Board Meeting for further discussion.
